Vacation - Day 6

Day 6 - you might as well call us crazy.  We decided to try SeaWorld again.  Monday was so much fun and Natalie was still talking about "Shambu", so we knew she would have fun.  We thought that it would be less busy on a Thursday than it was on a Monday, but boy were we wrong!  So many more people!

We knew the Shamu show was at 11, so we got to the park about 10:15, strolled around a bit and then made our way to the stadium.  We sat in the top of the Soak Zone this time; it was actually pretty warm at the park - probably 80, and since we had to sit in the sun waiting 30 minutes for the show, a little water would be welcome.  I think my shoes got 2 drops of water, and that was about the extent!  Natalie was a little more restless the 2nd time around, but Rhys still watched pretty intently.
We went to all of the exhibits we missed the first time - we saw the sharks, the turtles, penguins, polar bears, and beluga whales.  We also saw the Pets Rule show that we missed the first day.  (it's hard to make it to them all since you need to be there 20 min or so early to get good seats, and some of them are just too far away from the others, or they are scheduled simultaneously so you have to choose one).

The park was pretty fun, but I'm glad we went on Monday when there were fewer people.
We followed the day up with more swimming and a BBQ at the condo and then we walked down to the Harbor for some ice cream! (David and I used to do ice cream shops in the evenings when we vacationed alone, pre-kids, so it's nice we can do this as a family! I guess we should have let someone take a family picture...oh well)
